Just a quick picture-loaded update!

Shirt: H&M
Jeans: H&M
Blazer: Zara
Heels: NewLook
Circle scarf: Claire's
Wore it with rings and a big bracelet!

The first two items I spotted at H&M: a bandage skirt with panels for just 10 pounds (if I'm right) and very cool high-waisted jeans leggings with knee pads for about 20 pounds! Loved those, but didn't buy them.
The outfit I wore to Fashion Weekend, which was so much fun by the way!

Quickly

Just a short in between post before I go to bed.
I've been to Somerset House again and I managed to make some (slightly unclear pictures) that I'll upload as soon as possible! Unfortunately, I still haven't been able to find a new cable for my camera, so that's still causing the delay.. I've also got some outfit pictures up on my camera, so I really hope to be able to do a proper update soon!
AND, not to forget: I'm going to fashion weekend this saturday! I'm really excited (what to wear, what to wear?!) and I'll - hopefully - make loads of pictures, that I will of course share here ;).
Will be back soon, with pictures!

Fashion Week and more

London Fashion Week has officially begun – and it shows. Passing Somerset House two days ago was absolute eye candy (and also slightly intimidating). There were jaloersmakende high (!) heels, amazing dresses, expensive designer bags, shiny long hair and fashionably dressed men and women everywhere. I might go back there one of these days to (hopefully) get some nice pictures. I’m also hoping to go to fashion weekend, but the tickets are quite expensive, so I’m not sure yet.Other than that, there’s not much going on in London. I think my ex-roommate by accident took my camera-cable, so I need to borrow someone else’s every time I want to upload my photos. Going to buy a new cable soon (so updating will be easier again from then on).I’m also following a fashion&design course in school, by the way, which is really good! I’m a drawing disaster, so it’ll need a lot of work, but! I’ve started designing. Will put up some pictures once I’ve worked out some designs. This is what I wore a long while ago on a very cold and rainy day.

And there's no sun, nothing but clouds

Busy busy busy and therefore not as many updates as I'd hoped. It seems summer is definitely over and I am still in desperate need of a winterwardrobe. Unfortunately, my bankaccount tells differently.Went to the Thames Festival last saturday and sunday, which was really nice! Forgot to make some outfit pictures, but I might do that later. For now, pictures of something I wore last week (I know, it's ages ago!) - very simple, but I felt like something comfortable. Wore it with heels to go out for SNOGs (frozen yoghurt with amazing toppings) and drinks in the evening.

Top: Topshop
Pants: Zara
Sandals: H&M
Necklace: H&M

London is expensive, but shopping here is o so tempting! And I just had to give in. I didn't go completely crazy though - I visited Topshop and Urban Outfitters and then decided I'd spent enough money for one day. Spent the rest of the afternoon in Covent Garden, which was really nice - I just love street musicians!Ooh btw, I didn't even tell you yet, but one of my optional courses here is fashion and design! I've got two classes a week, which equals 2 hours and 40 minutes - and I love it! My teacher is simply brilliant. Anyhow, I'll tell you more about all that once I've had some more classes. A quick picture-summarize of my day:

Ended up buying all of these items! I love basics. Urban Outfitters
Pictures arent't very clear - sorry! I only realize now how much H&M I'm wearing haha. Anyhow:
Skirt, tanktop, belt, shoes, tights: H&M

London, baby!

God, I suck at all things that need regular attention (think plants, fish, rooms that require tidying and - indeed - my blog). I'm sorry for the immense lack of updates! I will try to make it up sometime soon ;)
Anyhow, I've been in London for exactly two weeks now and one of the first results was that I feel like I have to change my entire wardrobe. (Some) people here have such an amazing style! I should really start making pictures. But it was to be expected, as Oxford Street is absolute heaven and (even better) as there is a huge shopping mall near my residence! I'm staying really close to Notting Hill, which - I think - is a perfect location. So far I haven't bought that much yet (must say things are quite expensive here), but I will need clothes for the winter (and parties!), so I think I'll go on a shoppingspree sometime soon.
So what have I done? Not that much actually! I've met up with an old friend, enjoyed the wonderful parks (I love them), have been to the zoo and the fashion and photography department of the Victoria&Albert museum. And to school (and Starbucks!) of course.Well, I think this is enough talking for today! I'll post some pictures of London and an outfit I wore last week to close this first London post!

I actually wore it with a big grey circle scarf to dress it down some more, and I put my hair up casually with a silver chain headband and wore bright red lipstick.. just to give you an idea of what the entire picture looked like haha.
